oskar med k Shares New Song “On The Ground” on BBC Radio 1
Norwegian electronic music producer Oskar Sjåvåg, aka oskar med k released a new song “On The Ground” on January 23, 2026.
The song received its first play during BBC Radio 1's Future Artists with Sian Eleri.
The track is the first single of 2026. It was written and produced by Oskar Sjåvåg, Christopher James Mears, and Luke Scott.
oskar med k told Sian Eleri about his creative process, “It kind of depends on the spine. So sometimes I start with some vocals and mess around with it. Then it's just like, here something in my head and just tried to get out in the project.”
He explained why he wanted to make electronic music, “I'm not sure exactly why. I just have always loved it. And it's really fun to make, like I listen to other genres as well, but I think I'm best at making electronic music, just so much emotion in it.”- He embarks on “Make Me Feel Tour 2026” this spring. The tour kicks off at Badaboum in Paris, France on March 6, 2026 and will concluded at Coda in Toronto, ON, Canada on April 18, 2026.

He plans to perform many unreleased songs on the tour, “Lots, like first time when I played in front of the crowd, it was very weird. Because I played like a DJ set. And I played lots of songs that other people made. When I played my own songs, people just lost it. And that's what it's all about.” - source : BBC Radio 1
