Hunter Hayes Releases New Song “Too Late”
American singer-songwriter Hunter Hayes will releases his upcoming sixth studio album “Evergreen” on March 6, 2026.
The album completes a trilogy that began with “Wild Blue” (2019) and “Red Sky” (2023), tracing a journey from optimism through conflict to resolution.
From the album, he released a new song “Too Late” on January 30, 2026.
The song is the fifth single off of the album, following “Every Piece”, “Fragile”, “Wait”, and “Around The Sun”.
It is a powerful reminder that growth takes time, change is often the catalyst for our most beautiful chapters, and it's never too late to begin again.
The track was written by Hunter Hayes, Ricky Manning, and Andrew Stoelzing. Produced by Hunter Hayes and Alex Flagstad. The accompanying music video was directed by Randy Schaffer.
Hunter Hayes said of the song, “'Too Late' is me telling myself, and anyone who needs to hear it, that there's no expiration date on healing. You can always change your mind about yourself, your story, or what's possible.”- The new album comprises 10 tracks, recorded with producer Alex Flagstad, that center on themes of renewal, self-discovery, compassion, and presence.
Hunter Hayes said of the album, “Evergreen started as a series of letters from my future self. In some ways a prayer, and in some ways manifestation. I wanted to make a project from the future. It's full of hope, optimism, light and love. It's an escape from reality as well as a new way to appreciate the good things in our everyday life.” -
Hunter Hayes embarks on The Evergreen Tour, a 22-city run across the US. Franklin Jonas and BLÜ EYES will support the tour.
The tour kicks off at Beacon Theatre in Hopewell, VA on March 25, 2026 and will conclude at Charleston Music Hall in Charleston, SC on April 26, 2026.
