  • Cannons Announces New Album “Everything Glows”, Shares New Song “Starlight”

  • Los Angeles-based alt-pop band Cannons, consisting of Ryan Clapham (guitar), Paul Davis (bass) and Michelle Joy (vocals), has announced their upcoming fifth studio album “Everything Glows” will be released on March 27, 2026.

The album marks their first body of work since the 2023 album “Heartbeat Highway”.
The record comprises 11 tracks, which they recorded as the band lead singer Michelle Joy recovered from fatigue, an anemia diagnosis, and surgery.
The band wrote and recorded 16 songs and finally chose 10 tracks.
From the album, the band unveiled a new song “Starlight” on January 30, 2026.
The song is the second single off of the album, following “All I Need” released last October.
It was written and produced by Cannons. The accompanying music video was directed by Xander Ferreira .
  • The band said of the album, “Everything Glows is the most vulnerable album we've made. It came from taking a step back and really reflecting, both as a band and as individuals, instead of just pushing forward. That space became transformative for us, a kind of rebirth. The record is about remaining open in uncertainty and trusting that even in the darkest moments, there's still light, something our new single and video, 'Starlight,' captures.”
