Nina Nesbitt Releases New Song “Seventeen”
Scottish singer-songwriter Nina Nesbitt released a new song “Seventeen” on January 30, 2026.
The song is the follow-up to “Scotland In The Snow”, which was released last November.
It was written by Andy Caine, Nina Nesbitt, and Oliver Roman. Produced by Nina Nesbitt and Peter Miles.
Nina Nesbitt said of the song, “This song inspired by all the incredible new artists I've been working with or discovered during my competition to find a support act last year. Seeing someone at the beginning of their journey always takes me back to my own. But seventeen is't really about age. It's about a time when nothing is promised. And life feels like it's hanging on a dream.”- Before the release of the song, she has announced her new community “Mountain Club” for her fans.
Nina Nesbitt said, “Over the past few years, I've really longed for a deeper connection with you. A place where I don't have to think about an algorithm or presenting my music in a 10 second video clip. I often feel unable to reach you on here and I'd love to build a bit more r a community of our own. So, I've decided to create a very cosy club for people who want to stay updated and gain access to a bit more.”
She continued, “As some of you may have seen, I started writing on Substack a few weeks ago. Writing has always been my first love, whether it be songs, poems or little essays that help me make sense of this world. I've decided to expand this to the 'Mountain Club', where anyone who wishes to join will receive access to much more than my regular posts.” -
She added, “My life changes quite a bit from month to month, so these things will vary dependant on what's happening. But I'm looking forward to taking you behind the scenes whether I'm writing, recording or playing shows.”
