Lou Gramm Announces New Album “Released”, Shares New Song “Young Love”

American rock band Foreigner's original frontman and singer-songwriter Lou Gramm is back.
He has announced his upcoming solo album “Released” will be released on March 20, 2026.
This marks his first album in 17 years since The Lou Gramm Band's self-titled album in 2009.
From the album, he released the first single called “Young Love” on January 27, 2026.
The song is a blistering rock anthem with a classic AOR sound, featuring Vivian Campbell of Def Leppard on guitar, and Mike Lasaponara on drums.
It was written and produced by Lou Gramm, with Bruce Turgon as a co-writer.
Lou Gramm said of the song, The track features Vivian Campbell of Def Leppard on guitar, along with Mike Lasaponara on drums. It's a soaring rock anthem that showcases my earlier solo work and the sound I've always loved creating. While many of you know me as the original lead singer of Foreigner, this music represents my continued journey as a solo artist, and I'm proud to share it with you as a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2024 inductee and Songwriters Hall of Fame recipient.”- The new album comprises 10 tracks, produced by Lou Gramm, featuring Tony Franklin on bass and Vivian Campbell on guitar, and Lou Gramm's brother Ben Gramm on drums.
It is a collection of unreleased songs that were recorded in the 1980s during the production of his three previous solo albums.
Lou Gramm said of the album, “My new album Released is a collection of unreleased songs that were recorded in the 1980s during the production of my 3 previous solo albums. These are powerful, heartfelt songs with a great vintage sound taken right from my old multitrack tapes. This new album was a long time coming and it's a real nostalgia trip. When I pulled these songs out of the vault, I knew I had to finish them for my fans around the world, so they can experience what I did when I first heard them after all these years. It means a lot to me to finally see this album released, to be taken back in time when I hear this music again, to remember working with all these great musicians, and to feel that my catalog is now complete.” -
