Abbie Callahan & Brendan Walter Team Up for New Song “2:38”
Nashville-based country pop singer-songwriter Abbie Callahan teamed up with American singer-songwriter Brendan Walter to release a new song “2:38” on January 23, 2026.
This marks the first time Abbie Callahan and Brendan Walter have worked together.
For Abbie Callahan, the song is her first-ever collaborative single and follows “Simon Says”, which was released last November.
Meanwhile, Brendan Walter joined the song after the release of his debut album “Disappearing Days” released in November 2025.
The song captures the half-awake spiral of missing someone, trading confessional lines over stripped-back Americana-pop.
It was written by Abbie Callahan, Michael Lotten, and Ryan Hurd. Produced by Oscar Charles.- Abbie Callahan said of the song, “I had written down '2:38' in my song ideas for reasons I can't fully explain, but it clearly stuck with me… When I brought the concept to the writing room with Ryan Hurd and Michael Lotten, it immediately sparked their interest. We ended up writing it as a duet, and from the beginning, I knew exactly who would be the perfect collaborator.”
