  • Geese Performs “Au Pays du Cocaine” & “Trinidad” on Saturday Night Live

  • New York-based rock band Geese, consisting of Cameron Winter (vocals), Emily Green (guitar), Dominic DiGesu (bass) and Max Bassin (drums), appeared on Saturday Night Live to perform “Au Pays du Cocaine” and “Trinidad”.

This marks their musical guest debut on Saturday Night Live.
Both songs are featured on their fourth studio album “Getting Killed”, which was released last September via Partisan Records.
Two songs were written and produced by Cameron Winter, Dominic DiGesu, Emily Green, and Max Bassin, with production by Kenneth Blume.
“Trinidad” was released as the second single from the album last July. But the band frontman Cameron Winter leaked the song ahead of the release of the song on Instagram.
At that time, Cameron Winter said, "I want to get this song directly to the people."
  • “Au Pays du Cocaine” is the eighth track of the album. The music video was directed by Milo Hume and released last October.
The video features Cameron Winter and a baby.
Director Milo Hume said, “Cam and I were listening to the unreleased album in my living room this past June. Cocaine came on, and I was struck by how serious he looked while hearing it. His lyrics have this almost lecturing, forceful tone - but who could he be addressing, if we played that idea a bit? By the second 'baby,' it suddenly became obvious.”

  • The album comprises 11 tracks, produced by Geese and Kenneth Blume. It is their first album in two years, following the 2023 album “3D Country”.

Cameron Winter told Rolling Stone about the album, “I was unhappy until the last possible moment. Maybe even still. The whole process - maybe this is just how we make albums - but it's all kind of a waking nightmare until it's mastered.”
Guitarist Emily Green added, “It does feel like a brute-force effort until the very end.”
Bassist Dominic DiGesu said, “A lot of the parts were made through 30-minute jams.”
