Tiga Releases New Song “HOT WIFE” featuring Boys Noize
Canadian music producer Tiga teamed up with German-Iraqi electronic music producer Boys Noize again to release a new song “HOT WIFE” on January 23, 2026.
This marks the first collaboration in 11 years between Tiga and Boys Noize, following the 2015 “100”.
The song is the fourth single off of his upcoming album “HOTLIFE”, following “SILK SCARF”, “ECSTASY SURROUNDS ME”, and “IAMWHATIAM”.
The album is set to be released on April 17, 2026.
Written in Berlin alongside Boys Noize, the new song's unapologetic pop sensibility is something that Tiga wrestled with nightly.
Tiga said of the song, “You reach a point where making unassailably cool dance records can lead to diminishing returns. In a way, it's the safest thing you can do. You can't live in fear that a man in a fedora is going to like your music. At the end of the day, it's simple: this song comes down to a huge bassline I made with my mouth so I can tell you about my wife and my life.”- He continued, “Since the dawn of time, people have romanticized the DJ/Producer as the Ultimate Bachelor Fantasy. When it became clear that it was only a matter of time before news of my wife leaked, my crisis PR team told me in no uncertain terms that I needed to get ahead of it and control the narrative. In any case, I'm betting big that this release is going to take my marriage to the next level. Newsflash: only a small percentage of men are married to hot women and a lot of them are great guys like me. Why not listen to what we have to say?”
He added, “Alex and I have been friends since day ONE. Just a beautiful easy friendship made up of music and studio and laughing and techno. We been together thru all the changing scenes and seasons of the last 20yrs- and I'll just say this- Boys Noize is as real as it gets, truly one of the best. We got a new song- called HOT WIFE. We both have hot wives.” -
The new album comprises 12 tracks, featuring guest appearances from Boys Noize, MRD, Fcukers, and Maara.
