Fred again.. Releases New Song “scared” featuring Young Thug
London-based music producer Fred again.. released a new song “scared” on January 23, 2026.
This time, he teamed up with American rapper Young Thug on the track.
The song samples Young Thug's unreleased song “Lucky”.
Fred again.. first performed the song during a Twitch livestream last November.
The track was written by Boo, Fred Gibson, Miles Parks McCollum, Nate Brazier, and Young Thug. Produced by Boo, Fred again.., and Nate Brazier.
The accompanying music video was directed by rubberband, starring Brandon Bendell and Mar Del Corral.
Fred again.. said of the video, “scared video with young thug out now. this is the 2nd of 3 videos (the first was hardstyle, the last is…)”.- The track was added digitally to his latest album “USB” featuring 34 tracks, which was released last month. The album is an ongoing, evolving project that currently features 35 tracks.
Fred again.. told Zane Lowe of Apple Music about the album, “[USB] is just an endless album that I'll add to forever. Hopefully one day it'll have 200 songs on it. I think about [albums] as really intense and long-winded and they need to be diary entries and they need to feel like whole statements” - source : Apple Music
