Fleurie Releases New Song “Little Black Dress”
Nashville-based alt-pop singer-songwriter Lauren Sloat, aka Fleurie released a new song “Little Black Dress” on January 16, 2026.
The song is the follow-up to “White Lace”, which was released last November.
It was written by Jordan Sloat and Lauren Sloat. Produced by Jordan Sloat and Chase Weber.
She recorded the song at Gnome Recording Studios in Nashville, featuring Casey Moore on guitar, Cory Pierce on guitar, Chase Weber on guitar, Harrison Wood on drums, David O. Ramirez on keyboard, Jordan Sloat on piano, David Curran on bass, and Fox Den Strings on strings.
The music video was directed by Daniella Mason and was released on January 23, 2026.
Fleurie said of the song, “One of the most special songs I've ever gotten to write and record. Hope it gives you all the feels.”- She continued, “This Christmas I went up north to my husbands home town and we stayed in a cabin on 300 acres of woods that has belonged to his family for generations. It snowed one night and we woke up to a winter wonderland! My brother in law had his camera with him and I had my back dress so we went out to capture some magic! Such full circle moment of spinning around in the snow to a song I wrote about my husband, on the very land he spent his childhood roaming. It was freezing.” (This scene was edited into the lyric video.)
