Wings of Desire Releases New Song “Whisper”
British indie rock duo Wings of Desire, consisting of James Taylor (guitars/bass/keyboards) and Chloe Little (keyboards/vocals), has announced a new project in which they will release a new single on each new moon throughout the lunar calendar and culminate in a new album, with all the tracks coming together on the final new moon of the year, December 9, 2026.
This month, British singer-songwriter Peter Gabriel also launched the same project with his upcoming 11th studio album “o\i”.
The duo said of the project, “To stand still in an ever changing cultural landscape and an increasingly chaotic world is a theme running through our latest collection of hymns. We will be releasing a track on each new moon for the duration of the 2026 lunar calendar. to get back in tune with the rhythm of the earth and natural cycles of time. Everyday is a ritual, and every moment presents us with lore and wonder. for eyes that see. and ears that hear. Stand still like the hummingbird.”- The duo released a new song “Whisper” as the first single of the project on January 18, 2026.
It was written and produced by James Taylor.
The duo said of the song, “Whisper represents the birth of new life and the everlasting imprints we leave behind. Through the hum and circadian rhythm of the body, I heard you whisper.” -
