WHIPPED CREAM Releases New Song “it's time to go home”
Canadian DJ Caroline Cecil , aka WHIPPED CREAM released her first release of 2025 called “it's time to go home” on January 15, 2026 via Monstercat.
The song is the follow-up to the collaborative song “PHONK TECHNO” with DEATHPIXIE, which was released last month.
As a solo single, the track follows “life”, released last November.
It was written by Caroline Cecil and Zachary Yerxa. Produced by WHIPPED CREAM.
WHIPPED CREAM said of the song, “It's me coming home to myself — to the girl in the kitchen who used to hit record on her laptop and dream of dance floors she hadn't stepped on yet. It's nostalgia wrapped in cinematic synths, the sound that first pulled me into electronic music. I recorded raw textures in my own house so the record feels lived-in, human, imperfect in all the right ways. Home is a return, but also a reintroduction: this is where I started, and this is where I'm choosing to stand now.”- She added, “For most of my life, I thought no one really saw me. People loved the idea of me, the version that looked good, the version that was easy silencing her truth, but when I was in pain, or not at my highest, they disappeared. What I know now is this when I follow my purpose, I have my people. The ones who stay. The ones who fight for me. The ones who know who I am, even when I forget. And that has changed everything. Caroline it's time to go home. Out everywhere now.”
