Buffalo Traffic Jam Releases New Song “I Don't Care”
American folk duo Buffalo Traffic Jam, consisting of Frankie Cassidy (vocals/guitar) and Nathan Ross (guitar/mandolin), released their brand new song “I Don't Care” on January 16, 2026 via Arista Records.
The song is the first single since the 2025 EP “Take Me Home”.
It was written by Frank Cassidy, Nathan Ross, and Joe Becker, who also produced the track.
The duo said of the song, “[The song] captures the moment that follows loss - when you realize what you were holding onto was never what you needed. The song details the process of turning a new leaf, leaving the past in the rearview, and refusing to look back.”
They added, “This one is so special to us and we are so excited you finally get to hear it. We can't wait to scream this one on the road this spring with all of you!! Massive thank you to everyone that helped get this song to the finish line, couldn't have done it without you!! Huge thank you to the incredibly talented Colton Patterson for designing this amazing cover art!!”- Alongside the release of the song, the duo announced their debut headline Take Me Home Tour.
The tour kicks off at 7th Street Entry in Minneapolis, MN on February 24, 2026 and will concluded at Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, TN on June 13, 2026.

The duo said, “When we started writing these songs in my tiny bedroom in montana, we had never thought that it would remotely take us here. We are genuinely speechless today that you guys have almost sold out the entire damn tour in a couple of days. From the bottom of our hearts and from everyone on the BTJ crew we sincerely thank you for quite literally making our childhood dreams a reality.” -
