PinkPantheress & Zara Larsson Drop New Music Video for “Stateside”
London-based singer-songwriter PinkPantheress teamed up with Swedish singer-songwriter Zara Larsson to drop a new music video for “Stateside” on January 16, 2026.
On the video, PinkPantheress worked with director Charlotte Rutherford again, who also directed the video for her “Tonight”.
The song is featured on her third remix album “Fancy Some More?”, which was released last October.
The album is the remix version of her second mixtape “Fancy That” released in May 2025, featuring guest collaborations with Anitta, Seventeen, Bladee, Oklou, Jade, Yves, Kylie Minogue, JT, Sugababes, Zara Larsson, Ravyn Lenae, Nia Archives, Rachel Chinouriri, Kaytranada, Basement Jaxx, Joe Goddard, DJ Caio Prince & Adame DJ, Mochakk, Loukeman & Lead, Sega Bodega, Groove Armada, and Kilimanjaro.
On the album, in addition to the collaboration with Zara Larsson, there are three other remix versions of “Stateside”, featuring Kylie Minogue, Bladee, and Groove Armada.
The track was written by Caroline Ailin, The Dare, PinkPantheress, MNEK and Zara Larsson. Produced by PinkPantheress, The Dare, aksel arvid and Oscar Schellerd.- PinkPantheress recorded the original version of “Stateside” with New York-based producer The Dare.
She said of the song, “When I was writing Stateside, I guess I was, in a weird way, a cheeky mood in a very longing and maybe a mood in which I was missing someone, I suppose. And I think this has been super important to me, to kind of find an outlet to express my emotions. I made this with The Dare. Well, we made it together in New York. I thought he was British when I first met him. He wasn't British. I was very surprised he looks so British. I don't know if it's his hair or his energy, but I was very deceived, because I try and work with only British producers. We made the song. It's my favorite of my I think of my discography thus far. It really does hone in on the fact that after years of trying in the UK dating scene, I've now given up on British men.” -
PinkPantheress was nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Album for “Fancy That” and Best Dance Pop Recording for “Illegal” at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards.
The ceremony will take place at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 1, 2026.
