Natasha Hamilton Returns With New Song “Numb”
British singer-songwriter and former girl pop group Atomic Kitten, Natasha Hamilton returned with a new song “Numb” on January 16, 2026 via Morpho Records.
It is her first music in a year, following “Burning Letters”.
The song is a sleek, emotionally charged electropop track that captures a moment of emotional reckoning after the noise fades, when resilience is tested by the decision to feel again.
It was written by Natasha Hamilton and Andy Gannon, who also produced the track.
The accompanying music video was directed by James Longman.
Natasha Hamilton said of the song, “‘Numb’ was written in that space where you realise survival isn’t the same as living. It’s about noticing when you’ve shut down emotionally and deciding to feel again, even when it’s uncomfortable. This song marks a turning point for me creatively. It’s honest, grounded and exactly where I am now.”- Natasha Hamilton told The Pop Princess about the video, “It was the most chilled, laid back shoot, bearing in mind. We're outside for God knows 12 hours in the freezing cold. I was in the water at one point, but everyone was brilliant. I'm looking at these three different versions of me anyway, which is almost like the past, the present and the future. The three like three decades nearly being in the music industry.”
She continued, “I don't know, like that the three phases just felt. It felt good, so then I've got these three versions of me. We've got these wigs. We've got these different looks. They're very strong. Also, it was if it rains and it lashes down all day long. We don't really, I'm not gonna look like a drowned rat.
