Appleton Premieres New Song “Falling Into You” on BBC Radio 2

London-based musical duo Appleton, consisting of Natalie Appleton and Nicole Appleton, is back. The duo premiered a new song “Falling Into You” on BBC Radio 2 The Scott Mills Breakfast Show.
The song is their first music as the duo in 23 years, following the 2003 debut album “Everything's Eventual”. Back in 2023, the duo reissued their debut album.
The track was written by Daniel Zak Watts, Gareth Young, Natalie Appleton, and Nicole Appleton. Produced by Shadowhands.
The accompanying music visualizer was directed by Rankin.
Natalie Appleton said of the song, “We hadn't worked with Gareth since we made our 'Everything's Eventual' album, so we were amazed at how quickly everything clicked into place again. This song just flowed out of us because it's very much the story of us.”- She continued, “It was actually our kids Gene and Ace who suggested we reunite. Gene said out of the blue: 'Why don't you do something with Auntie Nat again?' And as soon as the idea was out there, we both realised how much fun it could be. I'm just so excited to be singing with Nic again."
She added, “The entire music scene has changed since we put out the first Appleton album. We're going into this with no expectations and enjoying the process of writing and performing again for the love of it.” -
The duo will appear on BBC Radio 2's Piano Rooms with the BBC Concert Orchestra on February 19, 2026.
Also, they will perform at Mighty Hoopla festival in May.
Natalie Appleton said, “We're planning on throwing in a fun cover or two, but you'll definitely hear all the songs you expect from us.” - source : BBC Radio 2
