Charlie Puth Releases New Song “Beat Yourself Up”

American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth released the second single called “Beat Yourself Up” from his upcoming fourth studio album “Whatever's Clever!” on January 16, 2026, following “Changes” released last October.
The album is set to be released on March 27, 2026 via Atlantic Records.
The song is accompanied by the Hunter Moreno-directed music video.
He co-wrote and co-produced the track with American producer BloodPop.
Charlie Puth said of the song, “'Beat Yourself Up' started as something I wanted to tell a friend. We've never been the heart-to-heart types, so I wrote it in a song instead. I wanted to tell him that even though he has made mistakes along the way, he shouldn't be so hard on himself. That things will get better and he's not alone. While writing it, I soon realized this wasn't just for my friend but myself and so many others who can be hard on themselves. It's a message to keep going and be kinder to yourself.”- The new album comprises 12 tracks, co-produced by BloodPop. It is his first album in four years following the 2022 album “Charlie”.
Charlie Puth embarks on Whatever's Clever! World Tour in support of the album. Daniel Seavey, Lawrence and Ally Salort will support the tour.
The tour kicks off at Viejas Arena in San Diego on April 22, 2026 and will conclude at Progresja Summer Stage in Warsaw, Poland on July 30, 2026.
