Quarters Releases Two New Songs “HEADLIGHT” & “PERFECT WORD”

New York-based rock band Quarters (formerly Quarters of Change), consisting of Ben Roter (vocals/guitar), Jasper Harris (guitar/bass/synths) and Attila Anrather (drums), released two new songs “HEADLIGHT” and “PERFECT WORD” on January 16, 2026.
Two songs are the second pack and are taken from their upcoming third studio album, following “STAR” and “PLUMMET”.
Both songs were written by Attila Anrather, Ben Roter, and Jasper Gee Harris.
“HEADLIGHT” channels underground rock energy through distorted, heavily processed guitars and vocals that push and pull against each other.
The track thrives in compression and restraint, turning fragmented moments into momentum, creating a sense of controlled chaos that propels the band's next chapter.
Produced by Jasper Gee Harris, Gabe Greenland, and aldn.- In contrast to “HEADLIGHT”, “PERFECT WORD” explores the cost of precision and honesty, driven by ripping guitars and restrained intensity.
The song lets atmosphere and weight coexist without resolution.
Produced by Jasper Gee Harris.
The new album is set to be released in March 2026. It is their first album since the 2024 album “Portraits”.
The record, largely self-produced by Jasper Harris, is a sonic statement that also boasts collaborations with Imad Royal, David Bottrill, and Aldn. -
