Perfect Weather for Humans Announces Debut Album “Come Apart In The Middle”, Shares New Song “Measure for Measure”
American indie rock band Perfect Weather for Humans has announced their upcoming debut album “Come Apart In The Middle” will be released on March 4, 2026.
The album comprises 8 tracks, which the band recorded and mixed at Sawhorse Studios in Saint Louis, and Maxwell House in Oakland, produced by Perfect Weather for Humans.
The band said of the album, “This album was a collective labor of love for us and we can't wait to celebrate its release with you soon!”
From the album, the band released the second single called “Measure for Measure” on January 14, 2026, following “Bowerbird” released last month.
The new song melds roiling emotions with the expansive their sound to create one of the group's most visceral outings yet, taking revenge fantasies as its jumping-off point.
It was written by Billy Shae Moseley and produced by Perfect Weather for Human.- The band said of the song, “This is a straight-up revenge song. It's about longing for the chance to exact vengeance on someone who has harmed you in ways you didn't think possible. It's also about feeling terrible about sinking as low as that perpetrator in your mind and realizing a certain terror in the fact that you might be capable of horrible acts. In the end, the narrator leaves it to the future and ends the song hoping that one day she won't feel the need for payback.”
