  • Archive Releases New Song “City Walls”

  • London-based trip hop band Archive, consisting of Darius Keeler (piano/keyboards), Danny Griffiths (keyboards), Dave Pen (vocals/guitar), Pollard Berrier (vocals/guitar), Lisa Mottram (vocals) and Jimmy Collins (vocals), released a new song “City Walls” on January 13, 2026.

The song is the third single off of their upcoming 13th studio album “Glass Minds”, which is set to be released on February 27, 2026 via the band's own Dangervisit label through [PIAS].
As with the previous videos for “Wake Up Strange” and “Look At Us”, the accompanying music video was directed by Maxim Kelly.
The track was written by Darius Keeler and Lisa Mottram. Produced by Archive and Jerome Devoise.

The band keyboard player Darius Keeler said of the song, “'City Walls' is a hauntingly beautiful song with a ‘stop you in your tracks’ vocal from Pollard Berrier. The video that accompanies it, directed once again by Maxim Kelly, is a truly stunning piece of art in its own right.”
  • The new album comprises 12 tracks, which the band recorded with long-term collaborator and producer Jerome Devoise at Metway Studios in Brighton and at Angel Studios in London.
It is their first album in four years, following the 2022 album “Call to Arms and Angels”.

Darius Keeler said of the album, “Our last album, Call to Arms & Angels was a pretty heavy record in retrospect, due to the whole Covid experience. This one feels like we're breaking out into a more expansive and uplifting dimension.”

  • The band will perform with the ORF Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra for a special FM4 Radio Session at the Großer Sendesaal of the RadioKulturhaus in Vienna to celebrate the release of our new album Glass Minds on February 6, 2026.

Darius Keeler said, “It’s going to be epic. Intense, emotional, experimental and profoundly atmospheric. This is going to blow your minds...This is what I imagined the album to be and I’d never in my wildest dreams thought it would be an orchestra of that size and such world renown.”
