  • Band of Horses Announces 20th Anniversary Edition of “Everything All The Time”, Shares Unreleased Song “(Biding Time Is a) Boat to Row”

  • American rock band Band of Horses, consisting of Ben Bridwell (vocals/guitar), Creighton Barrett (drums), Ryan Monroe (keyboards), Matt Gentling (bass) and Brett Nash (guitar), has announced the 20th anniversary edition of their debut album “Everything All the Time” will be released on March 20, 2026 via Sub Pop.

The 20th anniversary edition comprises 24 tracks, including the original 10 songs, 5 unreleased songs, 4 live tracks, and 5 demo tracks, produced by Phil Ek.
The album has been fully remastered, with the artwork refreshed and expanded into a gatefold jacket.

The band frontman Ben Bridwell said of the debut album, “This album made all of my dreams come true. Forever grateful for the desperation that fueled its inspiration.”

Producer Phil Ek said, “I've always believed that albums need to feel special and should transcend the recording process. I want records that I produce to feel like you can walk into them, to have a three-dimensional depth. The music should stay as fresh and exciting as the first time you heard it. Achieving this requires a lot of time, trust, and effort in the studio, but it pays off in the end. Twenty years on, I still think Everything All The Time exemplifies this fully.”
  • From the album, the band released the previously unreleased song “(Biding Time Is a) Boat to Row” on January 12, 2026.
It is the studio version of the early live fan favorite track.
The track was written by Benjamin Bridwell and produced by Phil Ek.
The accompanying music video was directed by James Ayling, starring British actor Joshua Whitehouse, Emily Claire Grogan, Tim Landers, and Imelda Garvey.
The video was inspired by the real-life story of the 52-hertz whale.

The band said of the song, “We recorded this one with Phil Ek during the original EATT sessions and thought it was about time we let it out. There's a new video for it too, thanks to the wonderful folks at Cape Films who worked with the talented Josh Whitehouse - if you've got love for lonely whales, this one is for you.”
