Common People Releases New Song “Rain”
Los Angeles-based indie rock band Common People, consisting of Nicky Winegardner (vocals/guitar), Sam Belzer (guitar), Asher Thomsen (guitar), Konrad Ulich (bass/vocals), and Cormac Cadden (drums), released their brand new song “Rain” on January 9, 2026 via Parallel Vision/Big Loud Rock.
The song is their fourth single since their debut, following “Ready or Not”, “Propaganda”, and “Thank You”.
It was written by Konrad Ulich and Nicky Winegardner. Produced by American rock band Cage the Elephant's guitarist Brad Shultz.
The accompanying music video was directed by Janush Libicki.
The band said of the song, “'Rain' is the feeling of not being able to escape the memory of someone. It's funny how everything can start to look like them-art, the weather, silence. There's something strangely comforting in the sadness.”- The band will support American alt-rock band Rainbow Kitten Surprise's North American tour. The tour kicks off at Landmark Credit Union Live in Milwaukee, WI on February 27, 2026 and will concluded at Moody Amphitheater in Austin, TX on March 25, 2026.
