  • Helen O'Shea Covers The Cranberries' “Lost”

  • New Jersey-based singer-songwriter Helen O'Shea released a cover of Irish rock band The Cranberries' “Lost” on January 9, 2026.

The song was released in tribute to The Cranberries' lead singer Dolores O'Riordan in advance of the eighth anniversary of her passing on January 15.
The track will appear on her upcoming third studio album “Songs In The Key of O”, which is set to be released on May 1, 2026.
The original version of the song was featured on The Cranberries' final studio album “In the End”, which was released in 2019.
After death of Dolores O'Riordan, the band pieced together her demos with in-studio recordings and worked with long-time producer Stephen Street to finalise the album.
The track was written by Dolores O'Riordan. The cover version was produced by Marc Swersky.
  • Helen O'Shea said of the song, “It took a village to create this Asbury Park version at Dug Deep Productions with Jack Daley engineering and Marc Swersky producing as well as a fabulous crew of musicians and vocalists including Andrew Carillo, Rob Clores, Aaron Comess, Nicole Scorsone, Nathan Bishop, Brother Andrew, Brielle Brown, Michelle Moore and Lauren O'Shea. Mixed by Seth Von Paulus and mastered by Leon Zervos. Everyone brought their A game for this special song. Rest in peace Dolores.”

  • The new album “Songs In The Key of O” comprise 12 tracks, including 6 cover songs of Sinéad O'Connor and Dolores O'Riordan and her 6 original songs. It is her first album in three years, following the 2023 album “Sturdy Souls”.
The album also features a talented lineup of collaborators, including Nathan Bishop, Nicole Scorsone, Brielle Brown, Michelle Moore, Fiona Tyndall, Lauren O'Shea, and more.
