American singer-songwriter Joseph Mulherin, aka nothing,nowhere. released a new song “Box In The Basement” on January 6, 2026.
The song is his first music since the 2025 album “will it emo (vol.1)”.
The track is accompanied by a music video, which captureed his 2025 Return Of The Reaper tour in the UK and Europe.
The song is a nostalgic post-hardcore banger, blending post-hardcore and emo sounds with pained poetry. He sings, “Just a box in the basement / Every night that we spent in Boston / All the time that just got forgotten in the end / And it's not worth saving / What we kept 'cause it couldn’t keep us / What we lost still never leaves us in the end.”
