Cate Le Bon Releases New Song “Always The Same” featuring St. Vincent
Welsh singer-songwriter Cate Le Bon joined forces with American singer-songwriter St. Vincent to release a new song “Always The Same” on January 8, 2026.
This marks their first collaboration since St. Vincent’s 2024 album “All Born Screaming”, which featured Cate Le Bon on the title track; she also co-wrote “Big Time Nothing” and played bass on “The Power's Out”.
Cate Le Bon released her seventh studio album “Michelangelo Dying” last September. The new song was crafted during the sessions for the album.
It was written and produced by Cate Le Bon, with production by Samur Khouja.- Cate Le Bon said of the song, “'Always The Same' needed a little more elbow room than the album would allow but it is cousin to the song cycle of 'Michelangelo Dying', coming into formation in the same breath. Special to me because it features dear friend and mighty artist St. Vincent who occupies the space around me with composure and gravitas whilst I kick around in the dirty waters of love.”
