BIG SPECIAL Premieres New Song “SLUGLIFE” on BBC Radio 6

British punk duo BIG SPECIAL, consisting of Joe Hicklin (vocals) and Callum Moloney (drums), premiered a new song “SLUGLIFE” on BBC Radio 6 Music with Steve Lamacq.
The song is the fourth single since the 2025 album “NATIONAL AVERAGE.”, following “PLAINTIVE NATIVE”, “DRAGGED UP A HILL (and thrown down the other side)” and the collaborative song “The Good Life” with Sleaford Mods and Gwendoline Christie.
It was written by Callum Moloney and Joseph Hicklin. Produced by Michael Clarke.
Joe Hicklin said of the song, “A song is about living low to the ground and going slow. Feeling guilt for needing a bit of time to pull yourself up by your boot straps. It’s about working through the self hate that can come through hard times.”- BIG SPECIAL embarks on their headline UK & Ireland Tour. The tour kicks off at Waterfront in Norwich on February 13, 2026 and will conclude at Ulster Sports Club in Belfast on March 7, 2026.
