Tessa Violet Returns With New Song “Knowing”
American singer-songwriter Tessa Violet returned with a new song “Knowing” on January 6, 2026.
The song is her first music in two years and is the first single off of her upcoming third studio album “There Will Be Joy”, which is expected to be released later this year.
The album is her first full-length record in three years, following the 2023 album “MY GOD!”.
This year, she plans to release a new song each month until the album is released.
The track was written by Tessa Violet and produced by Robin Skinner.
Tessa Violet said of the song, “I wrote 'Knowing' about the bravery it takes to change something in your life when you can't know that the next thing will be better. Many times I've leapt into the unknown simply on the knowing that “this is not enough” is enough of a reason to make a change. This songs is for everybody who's willing to be brave, in pursuit of a better future!”- She continued, “My personal intention for 2026 is to soften. For me that looks like being less rigid with myself and my stories, I hope this softness can extend outwards, as I have experienced myself softening when I encounter people who are gentle. This year I’m releasing a song every month as I work my way from 'Knowing' to the album 'There Will Be Joy'.”
