Ellur Premieres New Song “Dream Of Mine” on BBC Radio 6
British singer-songwriter Ellur premiered a new song “Dream Of Mine” on BBC Radio 6 Music with Steve Lamacq.
The song is the fifth and final pre-release single from her upcoming debut album “At Home In My Mind”, which is set to be released on February 6, 2026.
It was written by Ella Megan McNamara and Jack Leonard. Produced by Joel Johnston.
Ellur said of the song, “'Dream of Mine' was written a very long time ago about feeling selfish for wanting to pursue a career that requires a lot of sacrifices. I was feeling insecure and worried my long-term partner would decide that being with a musician would be too much for them. I'm very much interested in the conflict of being a woman and the fact my first priority is not to settle down, get married and provide emotionally for a family. It's an expectation so woven into society and I find it interesting that you don't really hear male rock stars apologising for wanting success. Written with Jack Leonard (UNKLE) and inspired by the rock bands I grew up listening to The War on Drugs, The 1975, The Cure and of course my ultimate hero CMAT.”- She added, “The last single before the album drops next month. What a crazy start to the year. This is a new song all about being a small town girl with big massive dreams that make me seem a bit crazy. I felt it was apt considering the year we've had. Here's to another year of dreams coming true.”

The debut album comprises 10 tracks, produced by Joel Johnston, Tim Malkin, and Ella Megan McNamara.
Ellur said of the album, “10 songs that are about identity and feelings and experiences I only feel safe to visit in my music (and there'll be 2 bonus tracks on the vinyl with a linen scented sleeve for extra At Home-ness). It's self understanding and self discovery. It's who I am at my core.”
