Seafret Announces New Album “Fear of Emotion”, Shares New Song “Signal Fire”
British indie-pop duo Seafret, consisting of Jack Sedman (vocals) and Harry Draper (guitar/vocals), has announced their upcoming fourth studio album “Fear of Emotion” will be released on March 27, 2026 via Nettwerk.
It marks their first album in three years since the 2023 album “Wonderland”.
The album comprises 12 tracks, featuring guest appearances from KT Tunstall, James Morrison, and Katie Gregson-MacLeod, produced by Steve Robson and Adam Yaron.
The duo said of the album, “'Fear of Emotion' grew out of everything we've lived through over last few years. We didn't want a single song on it that wasn't rooted in something real and we're so proud of it and how far we've come. We never thought when we started out we'd ever be where we are now. 4 albums and still going strong! Thank you all so much for staying with us. We couldn't do this without you.”- From the album, the duo released a new song “Signal Fire” along with a music video on January 2, 2026.
The song is the seventh single off of the album.
It was written by Steve Robson, Jack Sedman, and Nolan Winfield Sipe. Produced by Steve Robson and Adam Yaron.
They said of the song, “'Signal Fire' was written as a reminder that help exists and you never have to face the darkness on your own. The story in the verses centres on a relationship, but we wanted the chorus to be more universal and reach beyond that.”
