5 Seconds of Summer's Michael Clifford Releases New Song “carry you away (demo)”
Australian pop rock band 5 Seconds of Summer's Michael Clifford surprise-released a new song “carry you away (demo)” on December 31, 2025.
He recorded the song for his debut solo album “SIDEQUEST”, which was released last July via Hopeless Records.
But this song wasn't included on the album.
He co-wrote the song with American rock band blink-182's drummer Travis Barker, Los Angeles-based songwriter Simon Wilcox, and American punk rock band Goldfinger's guitarist John Feldmann, who also produced the track.
Michael Clifford said of the song, “This year had a lot in store for me. First solo record, sixth album with the band, and welcoming our second daughter. Here's a demo of a song that almost made it. Thank you for being here.”- source : Apple Music
