Tally Spear Releases New Song “Upside Down”
London-based pop-rock singer-songwriter Tally Spear will release her upcoming EP “Bittersweet” on April 10, 2026 via Nettwerk.
The new EP comprises 5 tracks, produced by Dustin Dooley and Zack Borg. It is her first project in six years since the 2020 EP “Tally”.
From the EP, she released the third single called “Upside Down” on January 2, 2026, following “August 31st” and “Where Do I Go From Here?”.
She wrote the song a year ago after losing her father, inspired by grief and the feeling of being stuck in an upside-down.
The track was written by Talitha M J Spear and Torsten Karl Anders Borg. Produced by Zack Borg.
The accompanying music video was directed by Polocho.- Tally Spear said of the song, “The first song that I wrote after losing my dad is a song I called Upside Down. I wrote it with my really good friend Zack, and this song just kind of wrote itself honestly, and the idea behind it was that grief feels like you're living in the upside down version of the world that you know, like every thing around you is familiar, but suddenly just darker. I think Zack actually started crying when I was writing melody to this chorus. I know guys I'm so proud of this song having written it with one of my best friends makes it even more special.”
