Møme & Ricky Ducati Release New Song “Blue Summer”
French DJ Møme and Los Angeles-based Canadian singer-songwriter Ricky Ducati will release their upcoming second collaborative album “California Calling” on February 20, 2026 via Nettwerk.
From the album, the pair released a new song “Blue Summer” on January 2, 2026.
The song is the sixth single off of the album, following “In Your Arms”, “Do You Know Me”, “All Night”, “Burnin'”, and “Paranoia”.
It was written by Ricky D’Anna, and Møme, who also produced the track.
Ricky Ducati said of the song, “New song out today called Blue Summer with Møme. I wrote it about uncontacted jungle tribes who witness nukes blowing up over the ocean and having to experience the conflict caused by a world they don’t understand. I might make a video of it one day.”
Møme added, “Happy New Year 2026 everyone! Let’s start with 'Blue summer' a new song from my upcoming album with Ricky 'California Calling' [February 20th] I hope you will love it as I do!”- The new album comprises 10 tracks, which Møme and Ricky Ducati written and recorded in between Paris and Los Angeles. It is their first album in four years since the 2021 “Flashback FM.”
The record reflects their shared love of analog warmth and handcrafted sound, balancing nostalgia and modernity while exploring themes of love, memory, fatherhood, and self-discovery.
Møme said of the album, “This album has changed my life. It’s different from my past projects as this journey carried me through unexpected turns and new directions: leaving a major label, navigating the industry through the early pandemic, becoming a father and pushing myself to create a body of work that I could be proud of.
