Gavin James Drops Live Video for “Always (Live from the INEC Arena)”
Irish singer-songwriter Gavin James dropped a live video for “Always” on December 25, 2025.
The video was filmed at the INEC Arena in Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland, on December 31, 2020, and was directed by Bill Corkey.
INEC launched the Gleneagle INEC Arena Player and hosted virtual concerts online between 2020 and 2021.
At that time, the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and many people in the live performance industry lost their jobs.
The concerts were part of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media's Live Performance Support Scheme, which provided 893 days of employment for 205 people, including artists, technical staff, and support staff.
Gavin James premiered the concert on YouTube on January 1, 2021. This time, he reposted “Always”, which was part of the concert.- “Always” was released from his sophomore album “Only Ticket Home” in 2018.
It was written by Gavin Wigglesworth, and Ollie Green, who also produced the track.
Back in 2018, Gavin James said of the song, “'Always' is all about loss for me, it was about ending a relationship last year and then Immediately regretting it, so it's pretty apologetic as a tune.
