  • Smag På Dig Selv Releases New Song “Vik's Rawcore” featuring Viktoria Søndergaard

  • Copenhagen-based acoustic techno band Smag På Dig Selv, consisting of Oliver Lauridsen (tenor sax), Thorbjørn Øllgaard (baritone sax/bass sax) and Albert Holberg (drums), released a new song “Vik's Rawcore” on November 28, 2025.

This time, the band teamed up with Danish vibraphonist Viktoria Søndergaard on the track.
The song is the third single off of their upcoming sophomore album “This Is Why We Lost”, which is set to be released on March 6, 2026.
The track brings together Nordic jazz lyricism and the hard, industrial pulse of Dutch gabber. The track draws inspiration from band member Oliver Lauridsen’s time in Holland, where he became immersed in the local underground scene.
It was written by Albert Holberg, Oliver Lauridsen, Thorbjørn Øllgaard, and Viktoria Søndergaard. Produced by TMI Tammi.

The band said of the song, “We have made a banger together with the best vibrafone boss out there; Viktoria Søndergaard.”
  • The new album comprises 10 tracks, produced by TMI Tammi, featuring a guest appearance from Viktoria Søndergaard.
It is their first album in two years since the 2024 album “SPDS”.
The band embarks on Christiania World Tour in support of the album. The tour kicks off at W.C. Fields in Christiania, Denmark on Mach 22, 2026.
