Olovson Releases New Album “UNTANGLE”
Los Angeles-based Swedish music producer Olovson released his third studio album “UNTANGLE” on November 19, 2025 via his own level 1136 Diamond.
It is his first album in two years since the 2023 album “Eternalism”.
The album comprises 8 tracks, featuring guest appearances from Swedish singer-songwriter Jaycov and Los Angeles-based producer David Geathers. Produced by Olovson.
On the album, Olovson expands his sonic palette - introducing a bold vocal presence while preserving the cinematic sensitivity that defines his sound.
Olovson said of the album, “The album takes you from track 1 ('THINGS I COULD'VE LEFT BEHIND') you've held on to baggage and it's too heavy to carry any longer so you make the decision to face it and put down your baggage. all the way to the last track ('FLOWERS TOLD ME SO') where nature, which has been here forever way longer than us, gives us peace in telling us everything will move on, everything will grow again, everything is moving on and so should you.”- He added, “This album is a collection of songs I finished over the summer, my most personal work yet. It's a journey of self-reflection, letting go, and finding peace. These songs began as voice memos and scattered recordings and I finally had the space to finish them this summer. Creating this record was freeing, grounding, and enlightening. I hope these songs can walk with you on your own journey wherever you're heading.”

Olovson explained some tracks for the album.
“THINGS I COULD'VE LEFT BEHIND”
“'Things I Could've Left Behind' started as a melody that had stuck with me for quite some time, and when I finally recorded it, I knew it was the starting block of the new project. I sing on this song, although only in wordless melodies, which felt like a bridge from the previous record into this new chapter. The song is about letting go of resentment carried for too long and making space for forgiveness and peace.”

“This song is about untangling the emotions and patterns you carry - and realizing you're allowed to let go - and coming out on the other side feeling more at peace.”
“RIVER”
“Cynthia, my wife, had made this prototype doll for her sewing classes and I wondered if I could make it move so I tried stop motion which was lots of fun and I got totally lost in it for a few days. I also asked my son Felix if he would draw a map for it which he did.”
