AFROJACK & Amél Team Up for New Sing “Rivers”
Dutch DJ AFROJACK and American DJ Amél teamed up again to release a new song “Rivers” on December 19, 2025 via AFROJACK's own label Wall Recordings.
This marks their collaboration follows “Our Time” with French DJ David Guetta and Dutch DJ Martin Garrix, which was released back in July.
The song featured Norwegian singer-songwriter Alida on vocals.
AFROJACK first performed the song at Ultra Music Festival 2025 in Miami in March.
The track was written by Alida Garpestad, Alma Goodman, and Julia Church. Produced by AFROJACK, Amél, and Ben Duncombe.
AFROJACK said of the song, “Yooooo so happy to finally put this out. We started this song about a year ago and now finally being able to get it to you is great! Been testing it on the road for a minute now so great to get it in right before the end of the year!”- Amél said, “This is the most excited I've been for a release in a long time! I've been working with Afrojack for almost 3 years now, and this is the first time I've released a song with him, just us together. I remember hearing the vocal for the first time and being instantly hooked. While working on this track with Afrojack, he gave me a lot of creative freedom to experiment with melodies, and even add in some of my own flavors, recording guitars and other real instruments. I think the track blends our sounds together really well. It carries beautiful flowing melodies, while also still bringing the full main-stage dance energy - that's my favorite type of sound.”
