Louis Tomlinson Releases New Song “Palaces”

British singer-songwriter Louis Tomlinson will release his upcoming third studio album “How Did I Get Here?” on January 23, 2026.
From the album, he released the second single called “Palaces” on November 13, 2025, following his October release “Lemonade”.
A new lyric video for the song was released on December 19, 2025.
He first performed the song at Capital's Jingle Bell Ball 2025 at The O2 arena in London earlier this month.
The track was written by Louis Tomlinson, Theo Hutchcraft, and Nicolas Rebscher, who also produced it.
Louis Tomlinson told Zane Lowe of Apple Music about the song, “This is kind of where we left off on the last record, with faith in the future, to be honest. Kind of the glue between the two records, the last one and the new one. But also really in line with the kind of stuff I love listening to the kind of stuff I love singing, love performing. It all came together pretty quickly to be honest. This kind of stuff is a bit more self explanatory to me. I tried to take a few more risks on the album in general. But this was me doing something that I really, really love. And I think hopefully you can feel that.”- The new album comprises 12 tracks, which Louis Tomlinson recorded with producer Nico Rebscher at Santa Teresa in Costa Rica for three weeks in early 2025.
Louis Tomlinson said of the album, “I sum up it as 'The record I always deserved to make. My bread and butter is my honesty. I genuinely wear my heart on my sleeve, and I hope it comes through in the music. I'm still learning and getting better as a singer and a songwriter. I find it impossible to be complacent; it's not in my vocabulary. For the first time now, I'm allowing myself to be the artist I'd always hoped to be.” - source : Apple Music
