Marc Valentine Returns With New Song “You Are The Jet”
British singer-songwriter Marc Valentine returned with a new song “You Are The Jet” on December 5, 2025.
The song is his first music in over a year since the 2024 album “Basement Sparks”.
The track channels classic melodic rock energy while showcasing his sharp songwriting and irresistible hooks, featuring fuzz-driven guitars, soaring harmonies, and a memorable chorus.
It was written by Marc Valentine. Produced by Dave Draper and Little Steven.
The accompanying music video was directed by Danny Garcia.
Marc Valentine said of the song, “I wrote most of 'You are the Jet' while stuck in a traffic jam, staring at the back of a large garbage truck. The actually recording process happened pretty quickly too - we had great fun laying down this track. I think it's one of those songs that are sometimes sitting there in the dark, just waiting to be written. It has quite a simple main hook really, but it also has a real positive message..like a beacon through adversity. Produced again by the incredible Dave Draper, I must admit I'm super excited about this one!”- Based in the UK, Marc Valentine has been touring extensively over the last two years, including shows in the USA and all over Europe, whilst also writing and recording a stack of new songs for the next album “Uncommon Side Effects”, which is set to be released on April 10, 2026.
The album comprises 10 tracks, produced by Dave Draper and Little Steven. -
