Kylie Minogue Drops New Music Video for “XMAS”
Australian singer-songwriter Kylie Minogue dropped a new music video for “XMAS” on December 13, 2025.
The song is featured on the 10th anniversary edition of her first Christmas album “Kylie Christmas” called “Kylie Christmas (Fully Wrapped)”, which was released on December 5, 2025.
“Kylie Christmas (Fully Wrapped)” comprises 12 tracks, including four new tracks “XMAS”, “Hot in December”, “At Christmas”, and “This Time of Year”.
Especially, “XMAS” is available on CD, seven-inch gold vinyl, and 12-inch zoetrope vinyl, from Amazon and via Kylie's official store.
She first performed the song on Capital's Jingle Bell Ball 2025 at The O2 Arena in London earlier this month.
The track was written by Kylie Minogue, Luke Fitton, Duck Blackwell and Richard “Biff” Stannard. Produced by Richard “Biff” Stannard and Duck Blackwell.- Kylie Minogue told The Sun about the song, “The song comes from 2015. I was at Soho House in Berlin, it was summer on the terrace and we'd just done the first Christmas album. We'd had a couple of glasses of wine... and it came to us like 'YMCA' but 'XMAS.' I've been sitting on the chorus for 10 years.”
She said of the video, “I was a bit scared as I've never done it before. It was a fantasy moment. I was told not to overthink it. We did a couple of practices before we did the main one. The thing is, you just need to trust the other person. The first one I got up, but I overshot it. The second was fine. The third one was good. The bruises were worth it the next day.” -
Kylie Minogue recorded the album “Kylie Christmas (Fully Wrapped)” beginning in March 2025 and continuing through May and July.
She told Apple Music about the album, “I went in to the studio with three of my favorite humans-Biff Stannard, Duck Blackwell, and Luke Fitton-and I arrived with a Christmas stocking that I had used for a CBeebies bedtime story. When I originally recorded Kylie Christmas, it was like a wonderland. This time, all we had was this lonely Christmas stocking hanging off the keyboard at Duck's studio.
