maryjo Releases Sadder Version of “LIVING ROOM”
American singer-songwriter maryjo released a new version of “LIVING ROOM” called “LIVING ROOM (Sadder Version)” on December 12, 2025.
The reimagined single is a stripped-back rendition of the original track, accompanied by sweeping strings and elegant piano.
Back in August, she teamed up with Los Angeles-based Israeli singer-songwriter Mergui to release the original version of the song.
To date, the original version of the track has amassed over 10 million global streams and over 50K uses of the sound on TikTok.
The track was written by Kunfetti, Mary Jo Young, and Mike Fatkin. Produced by Logan Maggio.- maryjo said of the new version, “I decided to release this version after re-listening to the first time I recorded it on the demo.
