JADE Performs “Church” on The Graham Norton Show
British singer-songwriter and former Little Mix, JADE appeared on The Graham Norton Show to perform her latest song “Church”.
This marks JADE's first appearance on The Graham Norton Show as a solo artist, and her first time performing on the show in four years since appearing with Little Mix in 2021.
The song is featured on the deluxe edition of her debut solo album “That's Showbiz Baby”, titled “That's Showbiz Baby The Encore”, which was released earlier this month.
It was written by Sarah Hudson, Jade Thirlwall, Mark Schick, and Pablo Bowman. Produced by Jason Evigan and Mark Schick.
JADE told KISS FM about the song, “There's so many songs that didn't make it that I still loved and I went in the studio and did a bit more writing just to see what could come of that and that's when 'Church' was written. It's a fun, cheeky song. It's got the old bellend, doesn't it? Go figure. It feels like the perfect song to bring around this time not just 'cause it's got that slight Christmas edge to it but, to me, 'Church' is like the grand finale of the THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY! campaign.”- She continued, “This era, it's the final closing song. As much as the song's cheeky in places, it's also a song about togetherness and I see the terms being more about whatever's going on in the world, you create your own kind of little chosen family, you celebrate each other. That's kinda what 'Church' is about. It's almost like a love song to the fans, specially maybe my LGBT fans.”
