Beauty in Chaos Drops New Music Video for Cover of Joe Strummer's “Get Down Moses”
Los Angeles-based musical collaboration project Beauty in Chaos dropped a new music video for a cover of British rock band The Clash vocalist Joe Strummer's “Get Down Moses” on December 10, 2025.
The song pays tribute to the late Joe Strummer and is featured on their double A-side single “God's Gonna Cut You Down / Get Down Moses”, which was released last month.
The video was directed by Vicente Cordero, who also created the video for “God's Gonna Cut You Down”.
The original version of the song was featured on Joe Strummer & the Mescaleros' third studio album Streetcore in 2003.
The cover version features Michael Ciravolo on vocals and guitar, Tish Ciravolo on bass, Jewel Steele on guitar, Michael Rozon on bass, The Sig Six Horns on hone section.- The project curator Michael Ciravolo said of the song, “As with 'God’s Gonna Cut You Down', I felt a spiritual calling to do this particular song. I think Joe’s lyrics are certainly "timely" and just as socially important as anything he ever did with The Clash."
He continued, “We filmed this the day after we shot “God’s Gonna Cut you Down”, so it was nice to swing the pendulum to something a bit lighter. While this video looks like it was fun to make, it was certainly not meant to lessen the sting of Joe’s lyrical attack on governments, oppression and the Catholic church. My ‘1977’ shirt, which I am sure Clash fans will notice, is my personal tribute to Joe Strummer”. -
