deadmau5 Releases New Remix “Strobe (&friends, Moeaike Retake)”
Canadian electronic music producer deadmau5 teamed up with Dubai-based DJ &friends and Italian DJ duo Moeaike to release a new remix of “Strobe”, titled “Strobe (&friends, Moeaike Retake)” on December 5, 2025.
The song will appear on the first of two discs album “We Are Friends Vol. 12”, which is set to be released on January 9, 2026 via deadmau5's own label mau5trap.
The original version of the song was released by deadmau5 from his fourth studio album “For Lack of a Better Name” in 2009.
It was written by Joel Thomas Zimmerman. The remix version was produced by deadmau5, &friends and Moeaike.
The new album is the twelfth of the music compilation series with the clear idea of giving airtime to fresh, newly discovered talent from the label mau5trap.
The album comprises 15 tracks, featuring Ciauru, Avis Vox, The XTTC, Meyer, imallryt, Hreez, Micha Mendel, Quantaloop, ELAC, Me & You, Liudicrious, robinrabauke, Penultimate, Sysdemes, infinikid, deadmau5, &friends and Moeaike.
