Anna of the North Releases New Album “Girl In A Bottle”
Norwegian singer-songwriter Anna of the North released her fourth studio album “Girl In A Bottle” on December 5, 2025 via Play It Again Sam.
This marks her first album in three years since the 2022 album “Crazy Life”. As the new project, the album follows her first Norwegian EP “Hei På Deg”, which was released back in April.
The album is part one of a two-part project and comprises 8 tracks, produced by Furrer, Luke Smith and Starsmith. The second part “Girl In A Bottle: Please Recycle” will be released in 2026.
Anna of the North said of the album, “Part 1 of my album Girl in a bottle is out now. Heartbreak at its finest. Love to everyone helping me getting my visions come true. Especially Starsmith for endless hours in the studio! Also big thank you to Hilda, Sebastian Furrer, Martin Stilling, Luke Smith, Billy Cervin, Corey Sanders you're the best!”- She told Vogue Scandinavia about the album, “It's gonna be rooted in love. That's the thing that I was insecure about before, that I always wrote about love, but romance is back. And I do feel like love is not always about a couple, or a throuple, but also family and friends. I hope that people feel that they're not alone in all of these situations that we go through. Heartbreak is very f***ing tough.”

“Call Me is about someone I miss that doesn't miss me back.”
“Waiting For Love”
“Waiting for love has been in my demo folder for way too long. It's been my favorite little indie-pop-song for a while, so I'm excited to share it with the world. It's about that one time someone came into my life, lovebombed me, and left as quick as they entered. Like 1 day ago I didn't know who you were and now my life is broken.”
“No One Knows You Better”
“A song I wrote about the beginning of the end.”
“Give Me Your Love Back”
“Hope you love the song as much as I do. Sadgirl summer is thriving. Ps. I don't smoke I have asthma.”
