  • JADE Releases Deluxe Edition of Debut Album “THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY! THE ENCORE”

  • British singer-songwriter and former Little Mix, JADE released the deluxe edition of her debut solo album “THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY!”, titled “THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY! THE ENCORE” on December 5, 2025 via RCA Records.

Her debut album was released back in September, and just three months later, she released the deluxe edition.
The deluxe edition comprises 22 tracks, including the original 14 songs, 7 new songs and a cover of American singer songwriter Madonna's “Frozen”.
Produced by Jason Evigan, Mark Schick, Lostboy, Dave Hamelin, Mike Sabath, Red Triangle, Ramera Abraham, TMS, Starsmith, Danny Casio, and Johan Lenox.
Basically, JADE made the deluxe edition as her new album.
  • JADE told GAY TIMES about the deluxe edition, “For a deluxe, and a project across the board, to be honest. I was determined that it had to be essentially a brand-new album. I didn't want it to be, 'Let's throw on some new songs or remixes and get it out before Christmas.' I'm a very 'more is more' kind of person. There were already existing songs that, for various reasons, didn't make it onto the That's Showbiz Baby album.”

  • JADE explained some tracks for the album.

    “Church” via GAY TIMES
“I did a week of sessions where 'Church' was born. Going into this deluxe, the single that leads it has to be worthy of being a big single. It has to feel like the start of another campaign, even though it will be short-lived and attached to the That's Showbiz Baby world. For me, 'Church' is the perfect sort of roundup of this era.
I wrote 'Church' with Pablo [Bowman, 'Angel Of My Dreams'] and Sarah Hudson. She's an incredible songwriter who's really intertwined with the LGBTQIA+ community in LA, so it felt important to write a song like that with her. I wanted 'Church' to feel like a love letter to those fans.
It's no secret that I have a predominantly LGBTQIA+ fan base. 'Church' is like 'Angel [Of My Dreams]' - it's telling a story of my journey within that space.
For me it's the grand finale of the 'THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY!' era because it's super inclusive. It's a love letter to all the fans of the whole campaign and what we've done together; this idea of creating a lovely, safe space for me and the fans to share that love for each other.”

“This Is What We Dance For” via GAY TIMES
“I wrote it with Julia Michaels, who I'd never written with before. She's so lovely and very talented. I also did it with Lost Boy, who worked on [Kylie Minogue's] 'Padam Padam', so say no more.
It's about knowing that right now there are so many fucked-up things going on in the world, and I genuinely see pop music in particular as the escapism a lot of us need. So, 'This Is What We Dance For' is about that euphoria of being in a space where it's dark, the music's blasting, and for one night, you can feel pure joy again.”

    “Frozen” via Apple Music
“I chose this song because I've always been a huge fan of Madonna's, and this is one of my favourites of hers. I remember dancing to this as a child in the living room, as if I was already a humongous pop star. I put on my own theatre performance in my bedroom. It feels like a mix of genres. It isn't your typical pop song by a pop artist, and one thing that Madonna has always done so well is make each era so unique and boundary-pushing. Madonna is female empowerment. She has managed to have longevity in an industry that disregards women or punishes them for embracing their sexuality. She has reinvented herself again and again. I left her last tour feeling absolutely mesmerised and inspired.”

    “Tar” via GAY TIMES
“'Tar' is almost like one of those bonus songs at the end of an album where you've got to wait a minute before it kicks in. I did that because I think it's quite far removed from everything else. It's probably the only song in the whole campaign that's very minimal in production. That's because 'Tar' is the quiet ending to this era. 'Church' is the big, bulldozing finale, but 'Tar' is more subtle. Conceptually, it's about me and my imposter syndrome – navigating the industry, trying my best to always perform and stay on, even when I feel terrible. If you deep dive into the lyrics, it's quite tragic, and that's the point.”
