Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Dina Renee released a new song “Heartbreak Saved My Life” on December 5, 2025 via AWAL and The Orchard.
The song is her third single of 2025, following “Ready When I'm Gone” and “Glow Up”, and it closes out the year.
The track is a lively, earnest take on love and relationships. It is an empowering anthem that examines the positive aspects of heartbreak, featuring Dina Renée's distinctive electronic flair and pop sound.
It was written by Brooke Tomlinson and Dina Renée Siedschlag. Produced by Ayax Arroyo.
Dina Renee said of the song, “It transforms pain into power, celebrating the moment that you realize that the heartbreak didn’t destroy you - it awakened you. I wrote this after one of the hardest heartbreaks of my life. I realized that staying with that person would have meant losing myself. I want this song to remind anyone in a toxic relationship that even when something ends, you are not ending - you are beginning again.”- She added, “A friend once said, 'Maybe losing them is the blessing.' Didn’t get it then... I do now. Growing up is just becoming who you were at 14 again but learning how to love her this time.”
