Vitesse X Returns With New Song “Memori”
New York-based electronic music producer Jordan Stern, aka Vitesse X returned with a new song “Memori” on December 3, 2025.
The song is her first music in a year since the 2024 album “This Infinite”.
It was inspired by the death of her hero, David Lynch.
The track was written and produced by Jordan Stern. The accompanying music video was directed by Jordan Stern and Chris Burden.
Vitesse X said of the song, “Prior to writing this song, I spent about a year climbing out of a deep depression by listening to near-death experience stories. I began seeing parallels everywhere. A truth that permeated through so many philosophies and religions. I went from being a staunch materialist to having an unwavering faith in the afterlife - oneness - source.”- She continued, “When I sat down to write the lyrics, death seemed to be all around - an old friend, a grandparent, David Lynch. The day after Lynch passed, I joined a group meditation through his organization, and felt a sense that the wall between this reality and the one beyond was thinning, on a collective level. What once filled me terror began shifting into awe. My lyrics are inspired by Lynch’s reflections on transcendence and the ocean of consciousness.”
She added, “At a time of so much division. I think it’s a message we could all use right now.” -
