Wet Leg Drops New Music Video for “pokemon”
British indie rock band Wet Leg, consisting of Rhian Teasdale (vocals/rhythm guitar), Hester Chambers (lead guitar), Henry Holmes (drums), Josh Mobaraki (rhythm guitar), Ellis Durand (bass), dropped a new music video for “pokemon” on December 3, 2025,
The song is featured on their sophomore album “moisturizer”, which was released back in July.
It was written by Joshua Mobaraki and Rhian Teasdale. Produced by Dan Carey.
The video was directed by Elliott Arndt of French-American art pop duo Faux Real, starring Chinese singer-songwriter Alice Longyu Gao.
Th clip is the story of Alice Longyu Gao involving an unusual relationship with a giant egg.
The band lead singer Rhian Teasdale said of the video, “Directed by Elliott Arndt of Faux Real and starring icon Alice Longyu Gao as my effortlessly hot sapphic egg keeper. Massive love and thanks to the whole team who made this happen. Perfect shoot.”- The band was nominated for Best Alternative Music Performance with “mangetout”, Best Alternative Music Album with “moisturizer”, and Best Album Cover with “moisturizer” at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards.
The ceremony will be held Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, on February 1, 2026 -
