Future Palace Releases New Song “Deep Blue”
Berlin-based post-hardcore band Future Palace, consisting of Maria Lessing (vocals), Manuel Kohlert (guitar) and Johannes Früchtenicht (drums), released a new song “Deep Blue” on November 28, 2025.
The song is the second release under their new label Century Media Records, following “Cyclone” released back in September.
As with the previous song, it was written by Maria Lessing, Manuel Kohlert, and Johannes Früchtenicht, and produced by Julian Breucker.
The accompanying music video was directed by Maria Lessing, who also created the previous video for “Cyclone”.
The band has been compared to Ukrainian metalcore band Jinjer and Moldovan heavy metal band Infected Rain.- The band lead singer Maria Lessing said, “They only compare us because I'm a woman. That's all! But we don't look alike anyway, because Jinjer plays progressive metal, and we play pop metal. I don't know Infected Rain's style, but we're really good friends... But if three men were singing here, they wouldn't compare us at all. Exactly!”
