Michael Monroe Releases New Song “Disconnected”
Finnish rock singer-songwriter Michael Monroe will release his upcoming eleventh studio album “Outerstellar” on February 20, 2026 via Silver Lining Music.
It is his first album in four years since the 2022 album “I Live Too Fast to Die Young!”.
From the album, he released a new song “Disconnected” along with a music video on November 26 2025.
The song is the second single off, following “Rockin' Horse” released last month.
The video was directed by Leigh Brooks, who also created the previous video for “Rockin' Horse”.
Michael Monroe said of the song, “Technology was supposed to bring people closer together, when, in fact, people are more disconnected than ever. They're looking at their phones and their computers and downloading stuff. And, you know, the Internet can't take away the experience of being at a live show. You're on stage, and you communicate with the audience who are there, in that moment. That's where the magic really happens, and absolutely no program or device or computer can reproduce that!”- The new album comprises 12 tracks and is an experience as much as a collection of great songs, a sweet smelling, leathery, glitter-shimmered, sweat-soaked raunch and punch wrapped in one of the great voices in rock 'n' roll.
